Open your antivirus or security app
Go to Settings or Protection settings
Find Real-time protection, Virus protection, or Shield settings
Turn the protection off
Confirm any prompt if asked
If using Windows Security, open Windows Security
Select Virus & threat protection
Choose Manage settings
Turn off Real-time protection
Turn it back on when you are done
