Replace or clean air filters regularly
Ventilate after cooking, showering, or cleaning
Open windows during cooler parts of the day if outdoor air is better
Use a portable air purifier if outdoor air quality is poor
Keep vents and air returns unobstructed
Check for and reduce sources of moisture, smoke, or odors
Avoid blocking airflow with furniture, curtains, or clutter
