Check the care label and make sure the shoes are machine washable
Remove laces and insoles
Brush off loose dirt and debris
Place shoes and laces in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase
Add a few towels to balance the load and reduce noise
Use cold water and a gentle cycle
Use a small amount of mild detergent
Avoid bleach and fabric softener
Wash with similar colors if possible
Air dry the shoes completely
Stuff shoes with paper towels or dry cloths to help them keep shape
Reinsert insoles and laces after the shoes are fully dry
