How to Make Shrikhand?

Hang thick yogurt in a muslin cloth for 4 to 6 hours or overnight to remove excess whey

Transfer the drained yogurt to a bowl

Add powdered sugar to taste

Add cardamom powder

Add saffron soaked in a little warm milk, if desired

Mix until smooth and creamy

Chill for 1 to 2 hours

Garnish with chopped nuts if desired

Serve cold
