Check that your VI SIM is active and your number is eligible for porting
Send an SMS from your VI number: PORT
Receive the UPC code and its validity period by SMS
Visit a Jio Store, Jio retailer, or apply through Jio’s online porting process
Submit the UPC code, your Aadhaar or other valid ID proof, and passport-size photo if required
Complete the Customer Acquisition Form and porting request
Choose a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete biometric verification or eKYC if asked
Keep your VI SIM active until porting is completed
Wait for the porting process to finish, usually within a few days
Insert the Jio SIM after activation
Restart your phone and verify network connectivity
Recharge or activate the selected Jio plan if not already done
