Let the glue dry completely if it is still wet
Gently peel off any raised glue with a fingernail or a dull edge
Use a soft eraser to rub away small dried glue spots

Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a cotton swab and dab the glue
Test any liquid on a hidden area first
Blot the area with a clean dry cloth after treatment
Use a hair dryer on low heat to soften glue before lifting it
Place the paper in the freezer for a short time to make some glues brittle
Avoid soaking the paper
Stop if the paper starts tearing or warping
