Open the Instagram app
Go to the photo you want to save
Tap the three dots on the post
Select Save to add it to your saved posts
Open your saved posts from your profile menu
If you want the image on your device, take a screenshot
Crop the screenshot to keep only the photo
Use a third-party download app only if you have permission from the content owner
