Keep your Vodafone SIM active and ensure it is in your phone
Make sure the Vodafone number is registered in your name
Keep your Aadhaar card or other valid ID ready
Visit the Jio website or use the MyJio app
Choose the option for mobile number portability or SIM porting
Enter your Vodafone mobile number
Select your city and delivery address
Verify your number using the OTP sent to your Vodafone SIM
Fill in the required personal details
Upload any required documents if asked
Submit the porting request
Note the UPC code if required and generate it by sending an SMS from your Vodafone number to 1900
Wait for Jio to confirm the request and schedule SIM delivery
Receive the Jio SIM at your home
Complete the SIM activation process as instructed by Jio
Insert the Jio SIM after your Vodafone SIM stops working
Complete any final verification if required
Wait for network activation on the Jio SIM
