Immediate medical evaluation
Confirm diagnosis with pregnancy test and transvaginal ultrasound
Monitor vital signs and assess for rupture or internal bleeding
Methotrexate for eligible, stable, unruptured ectopic pregnancy
Surgical treatment with laparoscopy or laparotomy if ruptured, unstable, or not suitable for medication
Salpingostomy or salpingectomy depending on location and extent of damage
Pain control and supportive care
Rh immunoglobulin for Rh-negative patients when indicated
Follow-up with serial hCG tests until levels are undetectable
Emergency care if severe abdominal pain, fainting, shoulder pain, or heavy bleeding occurs
