Wash the light covers with car soap and water
Rinse thoroughly
Dry with a clean microfiber cloth
Apply masking tape around the lights
Use toothpaste or a plastic headlight cleaner on the lens
Rub with a soft cloth in circular motions
Rinse and dry again
Sand cloudy lenses with wet sandpaper if needed
Use fine-grit sandpaper only
Keep the surface wet while sanding
Wipe clean after sanding
Apply polishing compound to restore clarity
Buff with a microfiber cloth
Apply a UV sealant or headlight protectant
Clean taillights and signal lights the same way
Check for moisture inside the light housing
Replace damaged bulbs or cracked covers if needed
