Turn off the ignition and place the wipers in the parked position
Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Locate the attachment point where the blade connects to the arm
Press the release tab or clip on the wiper blade connector
Slide the blade off the wiper arm
If the entire wiper arm must be removed, lift the plastic cap at the base
Remove the retaining nut with the correct socket or wrench
Mark the arm position on the windshield if needed
Wiggle the arm gently and pull it off the pivot shaft
Store the removed parts safely
