Unplug the coffee machine and let it cool
Remove and empty the carafe, filter basket, and any removable parts
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse and dry all removable parts thoroughly
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Fill the water reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water
Run a brew cycle without coffee grounds
Turn off the machine and let the solution sit for 15 to 30 minutes
Run the remaining cycle
Discard the vinegar solution
Run two to three brew cycles with clean water
Wash the carafe and filter basket again
Clean the spray head, drip tray, and other accessible areas
Reassemble the machine after all parts are dry
Repeat the cleaning process regularly
