In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and honey or sugar
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined
Do not overmix
Fold in sour cream, yogurt, or creamed corn for extra moisture
Pour the batter into the prepared pan
Bake until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean
Brush the top with melted butter after baking
Let it cool briefly before slicing
