Locate the recline button, lever, or handle on your seat
Check behind you to make sure the passenger is not using the tray table or space
Hold the recline control
Lean back gently or pull the seat back to the desired position
Release the control once the seat is reclined
Adjust your seat slowly and carefully
Return the seat to the upright position when required for takeoff, landing, or meals
