Open Instagram and tap the plus icon
Create a post, Reel, Story, or carousel
Tap the back arrow or close button
Select Save Draft when prompted
To find it later, tap the plus icon again
Open Drafts from the post, Reel, or Story creation screen
Select the saved draft to continue editing
Publish or save changes when ready
