Unplug the washer
Open the door fully
Pull back the rubber seal gently
Remove visible lint, hair, and debris by hand
Wipe the seal with a dry microfiber cloth
Mix warm water with a small amount of mild dish soap
Dampen a cloth with the solution
Clean the inside folds and outer edge of the seal
Use a soft toothbrush for stubborn grime
Wipe away soap residue with a clean damp cloth
Dry the seal completely with a towel
Leave the door open to air-dry
Clean the seal regularly to prevent mold and buildup
