Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels
Season both sides with salt and black pepper
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
Place salmon skin-side down if using skin-on fillets
Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until browned
Flip the salmon and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice
Pour the glaze into the skillet
Spoon the glaze over the salmon as it cooks
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the glaze thickens and coats the salmon
Remove from heat
Serve immediately with rice, vegetables, or salad
