Prepare a flat, level assembly surface or jig
Mark all joint locations on the layout
Position the bottom chord, top chords, and web members in the jig
Check alignment, symmetry, and dimensions
Fasten joints with plates, gussets, bolts, nails, or welds as required
Verify that all connections are secure and properly seated
Inspect the truss for straightness, squareness, and consistency
Repeat the process for each truss needed
Store and handle completed trusses carefully before installation
