Download a Sims 4 mod or create your own package file
Open the game’s Mods folder in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
Place the mod files in the Mods folder
Enable Custom Content and Mods in Game Options
Enable Script Mods if the mod uses scripts
Restart the game after changing mod settings
Keep mods updated after game patches
Remove broken or outdated mods if the game has issues
Back up your save files before adding or changing mods
Use only trusted mod sources
Check mod compatibility with the current game version
