Turn on the device you want to program
Press and hold the correct mode button on the Dish remote until all mode buttons light up
Enter the device code for your TV, DVD, or other device
Press the pound button to save the code
Press the power button to test the device
If the device turns off, the code worked
If the device does not respond, repeat with another code
For a TV, press and hold the TV mode button until all mode buttons light up
For a DVD or Blu-ray player, press and hold the DVD mode button until all mode buttons light up
For an auxiliary device, press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode buttons light up
If you do not know the code, use the remote’s scan method
Press and hold the mode button for the device
Press the power button once
Press the channel up button repeatedly until the device turns off
Press the pound button to lock in the code
Test the remote functions
If needed, repeat the process for other devices
Replace the remote batteries if programming fails
