Mark the snap placement on the fabric
Reinforce the area with interfacing or a small fabric patch
Separate the snap into its two parts
Position the socket on one side of the fabric and the stud on the other side
Use the snap tool or setting pliers to press each part into place
Align the male and female halves carefully
Test the snap to make sure it closes securely
Repeat for any additional snaps needed
