How to Score Dominoes?

Each player starts with a score of 0

After each round, count the pips on the tiles left in each player’s hand

The player with the lowest total in hand scores the difference between their total and the highest total in hand, or scores the total of all remaining pips depending on the game variant

In blocking games, if a player goes out, that player scores the sum of all pips remaining in opponents’ hands

In draw games, if the game is blocked, the player with the lowest hand total scores the difference between their total and the highest hand total

In some variants, the first player to reach a target score wins

In some variants, the winner of a round scores the total pips left in all opponents’ hands

If using a spinner or special tiles, follow the specific rules of that domino set or game variant
