Choose two pieces of fleece fabric of the same size
Lay the fabric pieces on top of each other with the right sides facing out
Trim the edges so both layers are even
Cut a square out of each corner
Cut fringe strips around all four sides through both layers
Tie the top and bottom fringe strips together in knots
Continue tying each pair of fringe strips around the blanket
Check for any missed ties and secure them
Smooth the blanket and trim any uneven fringe if needed
