If blood sugar is very high and you have symptoms like confusion, vomiting, trouble breathing, or severe weakness, seek emergency care now
Drink water
Stop eating carbohydrates and sugary drinks
Take insulin exactly as prescribed if you use it

Check your blood sugar again in 15 to 30 minutes
Do light walking only if you feel well and your blood sugar is not extremely high and you do not have ketones
