Rub the area with warm soapy water

Apply rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol
Try white vinegar on a cloth
Use a baking soda paste for tougher residue
Scrape gently with a plastic card or plastic scraper
Use adhesive remover if needed
Wash the area after removing the residue
Test any cleaner on a small hidden spot first
