Move to fresh air immediately
Avoid getting the spray on your face or eyes
Wear gloves if handling contaminated clothing or fur
Mix 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1 teaspoon dish soap
Apply the mixture to the affected area right away
Work it in gently and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse thoroughly with water
Repeat if needed
Wash clothing, towels, and fabrics separately with detergent and baking soda
Air out items before using a dryer
Bathe pets with pet-safe skunk odor remover if needed
Use a veterinarian-approved product for pets
Wash skin with soap and water after treatment
Flush eyes with clean water if exposed
Seek medical help if irritation persists or if the spray enters the eyes or mouth
