Identify the source of the squeak
Tighten loose hinge screws
Replace stripped screws with longer screws
Lubricate the hinge pins
Apply a small amount of silicone spray, WD-40, or grease to the hinges
Remove the hinge pin and coat it lightly with lubricant
Wipe away excess lubricant
Reinsert the hinge pin
Open and close the door several times
Check for misaligned hinges
Adjust or shim the hinges if needed
Replace worn or damaged hinges if the squeak continues
