Let the slime dry completely, then scrape off with a dull knife or spoon
Brush off loose residue with a dry toothbrush or cloth
Rinse the stained area with cold water from the back side of the fabric
Pre-treat with dish soap or laundry detergent, then gently rub
Wash in the hottest water safe for the fabric label
Check the spot before drying; if any slime remains, repeat pre-treatment and washing
If residue is still present, soak 30–60 minutes in warm water mixed with detergent, then wash again
For slime with glitter, remove loose glitter first, then wash and re-check
If slime is oil-based or very sticky, pre-treat with a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a hidden area, blot, then wash
For delicate fabrics, spot-treat with dish soap and cold water, then blot and air-dry
Air-dry until fully clean; heat from the dryer can set remaining residue
