How To Make Peanut Butter Cookies?

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

Line baking sheets with parchment paper

In a bowl, mix 1 cup (250 g) peanut butter with 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

Add 1 large egg and mix until smooth

Stir in 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Stir in 1/2 tsp baking soda (optional for extra lift)

If dough is too sticky, chill 10–20 minutes

Scoop tablespoon-sized balls and place 2 inches apart on the baking sheet

Press each ball with a fork in a crisscross pattern

Bake 8–10 minutes, until edges look set

Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
