Hold the rope in one hand and form a large loop
Cross the working end over the standing part
Twist the loop to create a second loop
Bring the working end around the base of the loop
Pass the working end through the opening you formed
Pull the standing part to tighten the knot
Adjust the loop size as needed
Test the lasso gently before use
