Power off the computer and unplug it
Let the screen cool to room temperature
Use a dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe dust and smudges
If needed, lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with distilled water
For tougher smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol (70%)
Wipe gently in straight lines, top to bottom or side to side
Avoid pressing hard on the screen
Do not spray any liquid directly onto the screen
Do not use paper towels, tissues, or abrasive cloths
Do not use glass cleaners, household cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or solvents
Clean the bezel and vents with a slightly damp cloth (after powering off)
Dry the screen with a clean, dry microfiber cloth if any moisture remains
Wait until fully dry before powering the device back on
