Turn off the grill and let the grate cool slightly
Remove the grate from the grill if possible
Scrub off loose debris with a grill brush
Soak the grate in warm, soapy water
Scrub stubborn residue with a sponge or non-abrasive scrubber
Use a paste of baking soda and water for stuck-on grease
Rinse the grate thoroughly with clean water
Dry the grate completely with a towel
Reinstall the grate once fully dry
Lightly oil the grate before the next use if needed
