Tap the group name or details at the top
Look for Leave this conversation or Exit group
Tap Leave this conversation
Confirm if prompted
If there is no leave option, mute the conversation
Turn off notifications for the group
Ask the group admin to remove you
Block the conversation if needed
Delete the thread from your messages after leaving
