Choose ripe kiwi with slight softness and a firm feel
Wash the kiwi under cool running water
Cut off both ends
Slice the kiwi in half lengthwise
Option 1: Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh
Option 2: Peel the skin with a knife and slice or cube the fruit
Eat the flesh directly
If desired, remove the central core if it’s tough to you
Rinse any seeds you dislike, or simply swallow them
Store uncut kiwi in the refrigerator
Store cut kiwi in an airtight container in the refrigerator and eat within 1–2 days
Freeze peeled kiwi if you want to use it later in smoothies
