Restart the Xbox Series X
Power cycle the console by holding the Xbox button for 10 seconds, unplugging it for 30 seconds, then restarting
Make sure the console system software is fully updated
Update the game to the latest version
Close all other running games and apps
Clear the console cache by power cycling
Check for overheating and ensure proper ventilation
Remove and reinstall the game
Delete and re-download any corrupted game add-ons or DLC
Clear local saved data and sync the cloud save again
Sign out of your profile and sign back in
Test the game with a different profile
Check Xbox Live service status
Disable Quick Resume for the game
Move the game from an external drive to internal storage
Check the external drive for errors or disconnect it temporarily
Free up storage space on the console
Reset display settings if the crash happens during launch
Lower graphics or performance settings inside the game
Uninstall recently installed apps or games that may conflict
Reset the console while keeping games and apps if crashes continue
Contact Xbox Support or the game developer if the issue persists
