Blow your nose gently
Take a hot shower or inhale steam for 3–5 minutes
Drink a glass of warm water or tea
Use saline nasal spray or rinse
Apply a warm compress to your nose and cheeks for 1–2 minutes
Try an antihistamine if allergies are likely (e.g., cetirizine or loratadine)
Use an antihistamine nasal spray (if available) for fast relief
If congestion is present, use a decongestant nasal spray for up to 3 days (e.g., oxymetazoline)
Avoid known triggers (dust, smoke, strong odors)
Stay hydrated and rest
If it’s triggered by cold air, cover your nose/mouth with a scarf outdoors
