Hold the needle threader by the handle or wire loop
Insert the wire loop through the eye of the needle
Place the thread through the wire loop
Pull the needle threader back through the eye of the needle
Remove the threader from the thread
Check that the thread is securely through the needle eye
Trim the thread end if needed
Repeat if the thread does not pass through cleanly
