If the blanket is machine-washable, place it in a large washer without overstuffing
Use cold or warm water as specified on the care label
Use a mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener
Wash on a gentle/delicate cycle
If available, use a laundry bag to reduce friction and tangling
Do not wring or twist the blanket
For drying, follow the care label:
If tumble-drying is allowed, use low heat and a gentle cycle
If air-drying is required, lay flat or hang to dry in a well-ventilated area
Do not iron the blanket
Do not use a high-heat dryer setting
Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting or using it
Store it flat or loosely folded after fully dry
