Scrape again to lift loosened debris
Wipe the surface dry with paper towels
Apply a thin layer of cooking oil
Spread the oil evenly across the surface
Wipe off any excess oil
Clean the grease trap and empty it if needed
Clean the exterior with a damp cloth
Dry all surfaces completely before covering or storing
