How To Saute Blue Crabs?

Rinse the blue crabs under cold water and scrub off any dirt

Remove the apron and lift the top shell if desired

Pat the crabs dry

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat

Add butter or oil to the skillet

Add minced garlic, if using

Place the crabs in the skillet in a single layer

Season with salt, black pepper, and any desired spices

Saute for 5 to 8 minutes, turning once or twice

Cook until the shells turn bright red and the meat is heated through

Add lemon juice or herbs at the end, if desired
