Open the Apple TV Remote app on your iPhone or iPad
Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone or iPad to open Control Center
Tap the Apple TV Remote icon
Make sure your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV
Make sure your Apple TV is turned on
Check the physical location where you last used the remote
Look under cushions, between sofa seats, and around the TV area
Use the Find My app if your remote is AirTag-attached or otherwise trackable
Ask Siri on a HomePod or iPhone to control Apple TV
Use the Apple TV app on another Apple device if remote access is available
Replace the batteries or charge the remote if it is not responding
Restart your Apple TV if the remote is not pairing
Re-pair the remote by holding Back and Volume Up for about 5 seconds
Use a compatible iPhone as a temporary remote through Control Center
Contact Apple Support if the remote is still missing or unusable
