Open the refrigerator filter compartment
Remove the old water filter if installed
Remove the protective cap from the new Frigidaire water filter
Align the new filter with the slot
Insert the filter into the compartment
Turn the filter clockwise until it locks, if required
Push the filter in until it clicks, if required
Close the filter compartment
Run water through the dispenser for several minutes
Discard the first few gallons of water
Reset the filter indicator light, if applicable
