Confirm you have the correct manual and all components listed
Identify all parts, labels, and hardware types
Clear a workspace with enough room to lay out parts
Prepare tools required by the manual (e.g., Allen key, screwdriver, wrench, hammer)
Organize hardware by type (bolts, screws, dowels, cams, brackets, washers)
Tighten all fasteners only partway at first
Start with the main frame components
Attach legs/supports to the base using the specified hardware
Install crossbars/braces according to the manual
Insert dowels/pins where required and align parts carefully
Connect panels using cams/locks or screws as specified
Install back panels, slats, or shelves in the order shown
Fix hinges/brackets to the correct sides and orientations
Attach doors/drawers/handles if the manual specifies later steps
Install any remaining components (sides, trim, end caps)
Verify alignment and that all holes line up before fully tightening
Fully tighten all fasteners once everything is correctly aligned
Recheck that doors/drawers open smoothly and are level
Secure any final brackets/anti-tip hardware if included
Clean off packing materials and remove protective films
Dispose of packaging safely and store extra hardware in case of replacement
