Cut new upholstery fabric with extra allowance

Place the new fabric over the chair

Center and align the fabric pattern

Staple or tack the fabric to the frame

Pull the fabric tight as you secure it

Work from the center outward

Fold corners neatly

Trim excess fabric

Reattach trim, piping, or decorative nails

Reassemble the chair

Check for smoothness and tightness

Clean the finished chair
