Turn off the pool pump
Set the filter valve to Backwash
Turn the pump back on
Run the pump until the water in the sight glass runs clear
Turn the pump off
Set the valve to Rinse
Turn the pump on for 20 to 30 seconds
Turn the pump off
Set the valve back to Filter
Turn the pump on
Check and adjust the water level in the pool if needed
