Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it
Mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and any desired seasonings in a bowl
Shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs
Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet with space between them
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for beef, pork, or veal, or 165°F (74°C) for poultry
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving
