How To Change A Shower Head?

Turn off the water supply to the shower

Cover the shower arm connection with a cloth to prevent scratches

Unscrew the old shower head by turning it counterclockwise

If stuck, use an adjustable wrench on the shower head or shower arm (use cloth padding)

Clean mineral buildup from the shower arm threads and the shower head connection area

Wrap the shower arm threads with plumber’s tape (clockwise, 2–3 wraps)

Remove any old gasket from the shower head (if present) and replace with the included gasket if required

Thread the new shower head onto the shower arm clockwise by hand

Tighten firmly with a wrench if needed (avoid overtightening)

Turn the water supply back on

Run the shower for 1–2 minutes and check for leaks at the connection

If leaking, turn off water, recheck gasket/tape, and tighten slightly or add another wrap of tape

Remove cloth and wipe off any residue
