Turn on the printer
Open the printer access door or ink cartridge compartment
Wait for the cartridge holder to move to the replacement position
Remove the old ink cartridge
Unpack the new ink cartridge
Remove any protective tape or plastic from the new cartridge
Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot
Push the cartridge in until it clicks into place
Close the printer access door
Run a test print if needed
