Turn on the printer
Open the printer software or control panel
Go to Maintenance, Tools, or Settings
Select Print Head Cleaning or Clean Heads
Start the cleaning cycle
Print a nozzle check or test page
Repeat the cleaning cycle if needed
Turn off the printer if finished
Remove the ink cartridges only if the printer manual instructs you to do so
Gently clean the print head contacts with a lint-free cloth if needed
Use only distilled water or manufacturer-approved cleaning solution if manual cleaning is required
Reinstall cartridges and close all covers
Run another test print to confirm improvement
