Turn off the printer
Unplug the power cord
Open the printer cover and paper trays
Remove any loose paper from the input and output trays
Gently pull the jammed paper out in the direction of the paper path
Remove torn pieces of paper
Check the rollers and paper path for remaining scraps
Close all covers and trays
Reconnect the power cord
Turn the printer back on
Run a test print
